Supporting clients in Maryland

The process to become a board approved licensed therapist takes years to complete!

Ashlee has successfully graduated with her master’s degree from Loyola University, where she completed at least 600 hours in a clinical practicum that focused on diagnostic, prevention, and treatment services.

Ashlee has been approved by the state board to engage in supervised clinical experience toward the 3,000 hours that are required for her to be eligible to take the board exam.

Currently, Ashlee is supervised by Jess Albright, LCPC-S.

Welcome! My name is Ashlee. Having worked closely with children and their parents in the school system as a Professional School Counselor, I understand the joys and challenges of early parenting, especially the complexity of navigating motherhood. Many new moms experience anxiety, depression, or feelings of disconnection, and I provide a compassionate presence to help them navigate these emotions. I help postpartum moms understand their feelings by creating a calm space where they can slow down, breathe, and feel heard.

As a Licensed Graduate Professional Counselor in Maryland, I specialize in treating depression and anxiety disorders, with a particular focus on perinatal and postpartum anxiety. My approach blends evidence-based techniques with mindfulness. In my work with clients, I draw heavily from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) while maintaining an eclectic, individualized approach tailored to each person’s needs.

Overall, my goal is to meet my clients with a person-centered approach, to ensure they feel safe and heard and have the tools to navigate the obstacles they face. Together, we’ll work toward balance, healing, and a renewed sense of confidence in both yourself and motherhood.
