Certified Health Coach
My goal as a Certified Health Coach is to help you achieve your weight loss goals by following The Habits of Health Program for Nursing Mothers. Our program is specifically designed for the nursing mother whose baby is at least two months old. We offer a nutritionally balanced plan that encourages gradual weight loss while supporting your body’s nutritional needs and encouraging the optimal growth of your nursing baby. Our plans are a good fit because they incorporate small meals every two to three hours, so carbohydrates and protein are spaced evenly throughout the day. All mini-meal replacements are carbohydrate-controlled and generally lower in fat, making them a healthy choice for nursing mothers.
Getting started is simple and easy:
We work together to determine whether the 1,500 or 1,800 calorie plan is best for you based on a health assessment. While you’re nursing, you should not consume fewer than 1,500 calories per day.
I’ll support you with an easy-to-follow food guide that outlines food options and recommended serving sizes. Each plan includes starches, dairy, fruits, vegetables, lean meats or meat substitutes, fats, and 3 mini-meal replacements.
You’ll be part of the Habits of Health Community, with your ongoing success encouraged by weekly Coach-led support calls to ask questions, learn more about the program and products, and receive the support you need.
When nursing is completed, we’ll work together to transition you to the optimal health plan that allows you to reach your ideal weight and health goals.
