Supporting clients in Maryland and Washington, DC.

Hi! My name is Morgana (she/her). While I used to work promoting peacebuilding, resilience, and trauma healing on a larger scale in the international development space, I transitioned to being a therapist because I love partnering with people directly to promote their mental health and wellbeing. I believe in the power of individual healing and its role as a critical part of broader family, community, and societal healing.

I have extensive experience working with individuals and families with complex trauma histories and draw on a variety of approaches—including mindfulness, cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, internal family systems, and somatic exercises—to respond to each person’s preferences and needs.

Sharing is not easy; I aim to create a safe space for you to feel comfortable to do the sort of vulnerable self- exploration involved in the therapeutic process. Becoming a parent is such a huge and transformational transition—it can bring up a lot and be a wonderfully potent time to reflect and grow in preparation for welcoming your little one. I know from my own experience, healing is hard, but by showing yourself that love and care, you strengthen your capacity to offer it to others as well.

In addition to individual counseling, I am also passionate about working with couples and families to explore how together they can best create a positive environment to support each family member’s wellbeing.

Each person is different and is on their own unique journey; I’d be honored to support you on yours.
