What Should I Expect?

Seeking counseling is a courageous step!  Here’s what you can expect:

  • Upon scheduling your first counseling session, we will electronically send you intake forms to the email address you provide us.

  • Your therapist will review your intake forms during your initial session and talk with you about your current stressors.

  • You will work in collaboration with your therapist to identify your goals and develop a unique treatment plan.  

  • You will meet with your counselor one day each week (or one day every other week) and review your progress.

  • Many women complete treatment in 8-12 sessions.

  • Treatment is always collaborative, and your choices are respected.
